Deep Flavor That Will Warm Your Day

Our Salisbury Steak is made from seasoned ground beef patties by our seasoned chef. It's like a mashup between meatloaf and a hamburger shellacked with a rich mushroom and onion gravy and served with garlic mashed potatoes.

According to Smithsonian magazine, this hamburger steak dish was named after Dr. James Henry Salisbury, a doctor who studied nutrition in the 19th century and was a big proponent of minced beef as a health food. This is even more intriguing when you learn what foods the good doctor did not consider healthy: fresh fruits and vegetables.

A doctor who thought eating ground up meat was good and fruits and vegetable were not good for you? I hope this guy is in my health insurance network.
